About my PhD

My PhD examined Thai Constitutionalism (legal doctrines, texts, case-law, and overall ‘constitutional culture’) in a historical and comparative perspective, deconstructing the bricolage of Thailand’s concept and practice of royal sovereignty.

Initially written in the French language, it was published or is currently under publication in French, English and Thai as shown below :

  • Thailand’s Monarchy : Sacred Kingship vs. The Rule of Law (Singapore : Hart Publishing, forthcoming 2019)
(Bangkok : Fa Diao Kan, forthcoming 2019)

In 2018, the original dissertation was awarded the “Prix de l’Institut Varenne” (Comparative Constitutional Law) and  “Prix Ulmann-Lévy” (Law & Politics) of the Universities of Paris.
